In the last years there has been a large increase in the number of people traveling to exotic or tropical countries like our, most of them tourists but there is a small percentage that makes it as humanitarian aid. This implies an emergence of infectious diseases different from the usual environment of these people, thus assuming a risk to the visitor and hence to public health.

The OMS, through the International Health Regulations, attempts to prevent the spread of such disease in international travel, for this it recommends standards compliance and other mandatory general.
